We became campers again in Nov 2010 and the first stop we made was the loose caboose. What a fantastic decision. The owners are caring, knowledgable, and extremely helpful! as are the maitenence crew! The campsites are very clean, scenic and beautiful. The bathouse is clean and well maintained. The nearby attractions were great. We went to the Verdant farm and fed the baby calves, had dinner at Millers, and went on Amish buggy ridge. We went to Krozers x-mas village,(not too far away) and many other trips. It was a terrific experience for the whole family. Thank you for a wonderful winter stay. They are the best campground around, my dog loves it to. Comment: We had a nice stay at the camp ground. The view from site 7 is decent and the noise from the train is minimal. The staff there is excellent!!!!!!!! We will be back for sure.

Comment: I would like to thank you for allowing me to stay at the loose caboose camp grounds. My son enjoyed it very much, and there was plenty to do in Lancaster county. However, I did not get to see all the sights, next time I hope to do more adventures with my son. I hope all the work you are doing there, will become a fantastic place to camp in the future. I know I enjoyed my stay !!!! Thanks again !

Comment: I just wanted to say that we enjoyed our stay at your campground. It was pleasant, very nice and our site very shaded. My grandson loved the trains going by every so often. We had a nice day at Strasburg too! Such a quaint, safe place to visit and so close. Sorry we couldn't make it to the Pot Luck party that afternoon. My brother-in-law and wife had planned a big dinner for us that afternoon. It was really good too! See you next visit... Thank you

Comment: My family and I recently spent a week at the Loose Caboose Campground. The location was great. The facilities were nice and the staff was always will to help with directions, activities, etc. The campsite itself was perfect. We took our 4 yr. old our two 6 yr old and our 15 yr. old and they were able to play, enjoy the outdoors while we were able to relax and feel that they were safe. The other campers were very friendly and also wanting to make us feel comfortable and not miss any of the sites in the neighboring areas. We will recommend this campsite and will most defintly revisit the LOOSE CABOOSE CAMPGROUND when we return next fall. Jenn

Comment: I spent 8 months at the Loose Caboose campground and you couldn't ask for nicer or more considerate hosts than Traci and Donald. They will always have a warm place in my heart.
